Gastric bypass is not easily lose weight and look good, the operation is to improve health. There are several types of gastric bypass procedures, but they all involve bypassing part of the small intestine by the greater or lesser degree. As with any surgery, there are risks involved with gastric bypass. With no treatment, one in four gastric bypass patients develop gallstones after surgery. During the recovery period of limitations imposed by the gastric bypass procedure should be considered.

The following are common phases in gastric bypass diet progression: Liquids. In general, gastric bypass diet includes foods that are high in protein and low in fat, fiber, calories and sugar. Fiber, found in foods like bran, popcorn, raw vegetables, and beans, is also limited in the diet for gastric bypass. The gastric bypass diet is low in sugar and sweet foods for reasons.

However, gastric bypass surgery is a major surgical procedure, and certainly not suitable for everyone and not without risk. For these people, the traditional remedy of diet and exercise just does not work and are becoming increasingly towards gastric bypass surgery. A study soon to be published in gastric bypass patients over 65 also showed that the procedure of good results and improved quality of life. I have a friend who underwent gastric bypass surgery about 6 months - you're doing great!
