A new food diet is the raw food movement. Supporters claim it is the easiest way to remove fat from your diet and to lose weight. Vegetarians can also claim this to be true. Raw foodism, an extreme type of vegetarianism, promotes the consumption of unprocessed, uncooked and usually organic foods. You do not cook this food above a certain
temperature. How high or long you can cook the raw food varies according to specific groups. Your diet may consist of raw fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, eggs, fish and meat. You may also eat unpasteurized dairy products such as yogurt, cheese and raw milk.
Many consider this a highly restrictive diet. Others believe it to be helpful in reducing weight and increasing health benefits. Before you decide to go this route, consult your doctor. Also, be aware you will probably need to take supplements. Your new diet may require you to take vitamin B and iron.
